The DadLadTour Team:

The Dad: Previously gainfully employed – and self-employed – for over 40 years, Gavin has now retired and devotes his days to being a full-time grump. He’s also Dad to Bethany (A.K.A. #DaughterNo1) and GrumpPa to Emilia (A.K.A. #GrandDaughterNo1) and – since September 2026 – little Lottie (A.K.A. #GrandDaughterNo2).

The Lad: Liam (A.K.A. #SonInLawNo1) Liam is the logistical genius – and the brains – behind our Swiss sojourn. He spends his working hours despatching fire appliances to rescue cats from trees and his free time chasing around after Emilia and Lottie. Liam is married to Bethany.

BantamMonkey: (A.K.A “BM” or “The Chimp”) BM is an old pal, he’s been with us on many trips around the country following the men’s team we support. Now we have persuaded him to come out of retirement to join in our Swiss Adventure. The Chimp always brings the fun and vibes and BM will be choosing the tunes during our sojourn to the Alps.
